Saturday, July 05, 2014 10:34AM

This wedding was simply gorgeous from start to finish!  Northside Methodist Church with the wonderful Dr. Gil was where the ceremony was held followed by an incredible party at Capital City Club at Brookhaven.  The day ran smoothly and everything came off perfectly thanks to the talents of Louise Hanlon and Mora Hostetter with Classic Weddings of Buckhead.  Britt Wood of Britt Wood Designs is always extraordinary but the florals for Caroline and Chas's wedding were in a league of their own.To see a slideshow of the day please click .

I want to thank the Ethridge family for letting us be a part of capturing Jessica's wedding day.  This is such a dear and wonderful family and it was absolutely a joy to be a part of it all.  We also got to see lots of old friends including Jodi Yarbrough who was kind enough to recommend us.The day started off with a bump or two with a bit of rain and an uncooperative dress but it ended with family and friends having a wonderful time and celebrating this beautiful day.  The skies even cleared which allowed for some photos out in those incredible gardens. Thanks to Pam and Weezie for keeping things running smoothly and to Affairs to Remember and By Tulip for making things ...

Melissa & David- St Simons Island Weddings
Sunday, June 15, 2014 10:40AM

Melissa and David had such a wonderful wedding on St Simons Island.  The day began at Lovely Lane Chapel at Epworth by the Sea and finished with a reception at the King and Prince Resort. Kelly Mattox was on hand to ensure that everything ran smoothly.   I loved how from start to finish they truly made the day about what was important to them- their children and family.  We wish them a wonderful marriage filled with lots of love!  Click here to view a slideshow of the day.

Brian & Keith - The Incredible Wedding Day
Friday, June 13, 2014 4:27PM

I can't begin to describe just how wonderful Brian and Keith's wedding day was.  First of all the attention that they paid to insuring that their guests had one of the best days of their lives was at the heart of why these dear men have the caliber of friends that I met.  Dean and I had our gift bags personally delivered by Brian and Keith and that level of being made to feel special was how everyone there was treated. From the boat tour of the Hudson on Friday to the personally designed invitations and gift bags, this event was perfection.  From the Mercedes vans that took us to the ceremony and reception events, to the incredible dinner at Joe Allen, we were treated like ...

Atlanta Wedding Photographer-Danielle & Dan

It was such a joy to get to capture Danielle and Dan's Jekyll Island Club wedding.  Danielle was absolutely stunning in the gown that was top secret that day.  Dan wore a white dinner jacket and I am in love with that look.  Straton Hall was in charge of the florals which were absolutely perfect.  I love the Jekyll Island Club for it's unsurpassed beauty but also because the people who work there are as good as they get at insuring that wedding days are perfect.   To see a slideshow of the day please click here.

St. Simons Island Weddings-Maggie and David

What a terrific day and wonderful people! Maggie and David couldn't have had a better day for their Lighthouse Museum wedding. Anytime you have assembled Straton Hall Events, Island Sound Live, and Island Weddings DOC as your vendors then things are going to be smooth sailing but this was an especially relaxed and perfect day.To see a slideshow of the day please click here.

Jekyll Island Club Weddings-Alex & Jack
Sunday, April 20, 2014 1:50PM

What a nice group of people and a beautiful day we had for Jack and Alex wedding at the Crane Cottage on Jekyll Island.  The talented team at Straton Hall Events handled the florals for the day but they also put flowers inside the fountain in the courtyard which was so extraordinary and fun.  Rachel Carswell was running the show and did so brilliantly while Cates Mock was assisting me for the day.  I am such a terror that I don't envy anyone in that job but Cates did a great job and even got an expecially difficult shot that I asked her for (it's terrible when I say "no pressure" but..... that really scares everyone)The party seemed to be in full swing when I was leaving ...

Katie & Scott- St Simons Island
Friday, April 18, 2014 7:58PM

To say Chap and I were excited to photograph Scott and Katie's wedding would be an understatement.  Chap and I have known Katie and the fabulous Grosshans family for many years and we both adored Scott as soon as we met him a few summers back.  Katie's family has been going to St Simons Island for years so it was such a fitting location for this wonderful celebration.  Despite an 80% chance of rain, the day went off without a hitch. Katie was such a gorgeous bride and we loved meeting Scott's family and his two beautiful daughters.  In typical Grosshans fashion, the wedding was a day filled with love, family, and lots of fun!  We can't wait to see what the future ...
