Lauren and I have had the most amazing year with lots of travel and lots of absolutely wonderful families. We have been everywhere from Atlanta, to Sea Island, Jekyll Island, and St. Simons, to New York for my first gay wedding which was so elegant and sophisticated that they actually had the star of Pippin arrive between performances to sing at their ceremony. We were priviledged to be asked to capture the wedding of Robbie and Heather in Paris and equally as excited to photography Kinsley and Steven at Foxhall Sporting Club. When I'm asked what goes into to capturing beautiful images it is part technical skill, part having a large body of experience, part understanding ...

Kinsley and Steven had such a spectacular day out at Foxhall Resort and so many of the details that I absolutely loved were things that Kinsley was the mastermind behind. The white pews in the ceremony hall were so wonderful that I can't even begin to express how beautiful that it was walking into that room. This was my first time with the band Trotline and I hope that it's not the last. They are a country band but they seem to play everything you can imagine and were just completely wonderful people to work with. Stylish Stems worked their magic with the florals and Crush Rentals brilliantly draped the ceiling and provided an incredible seating area ...

Well, we had the usual rain scare and panic over all things related to outdoor weddings but once the day arrived, it was all perfect except for the heat and humidity which is just Georgia in August. Straton Hall handled the food, florals, decor, and their usual charm while Mark Brown with Island Sound Live insured that the party was perfect. Lauren and I really enjoyed being a part of Megan and Andrew's beautiful wedding day. To see a slideshow of their day, please click here.

I've felt for a while now that between things like "Say Yes to the Dress", "Four Weddings", "Something Borrowed, Something New, the thousands of Pinterest pages, and wanting their weddings to be featured in a magazine, that the romance and the real reason for the day has been lost on some of my brides. Fortunately Christine and Tom took me back to what that day is really all about and it was wonderful to capture this celebration with their family and friends. Before we met Christine we absolutely knew that she was going to regret going over to Driftwood Beach before the wedding for photos (she didn't). Experience had taught us that she'd be fretting over the sand on her ...

Gina and Brian had one of those typical summer days where the weather just couldn't make up it's mind but somehow managed to give us moments when we could get outside and capture our images. This wonderful couple said their vows at the Lovely Lane Chapel before a group of close friends and family and then headed over to the beautifully renovated King and Prince Resort for their party. The florals by Straton Hall Events were perfect as always and Island Sound Live was on hand to make it a perfect party. To see a slideshow of the day please click here.

This wedding was simply gorgeous from start to finish! Northside Methodist Church with the wonderful Dr. Gil was where the ceremony was held followed by an incredible party at Capital City Club at Brookhaven. The day ran smoothly and everything came off perfectly thanks to the talents of Louise Hanlon and Mora Hostetter with Classic Weddings of Buckhead. Britt Wood of Britt Wood Designs is always extraordinary but the florals for Caroline and Chas's wedding were in a league of their own.To see a slideshow of the day please click .

I want to thank the Ethridge family for letting us be a part of capturing Jessica's wedding day. This is such a dear and wonderful family and it was absolutely a joy to be a part of it all. We also got to see lots of old friends including Jodi Yarbrough who was kind enough to recommend us.The day started off with a bump or two with a bit of rain and an uncooperative dress but it ended with family and friends having a wonderful time and celebrating this beautiful day. The skies even cleared which allowed for some photos out in those incredible gardens. Thanks to Pam and Weezie for keeping things running smoothly and to Affairs to Remember and By Tulip for making things ...

Melissa and David had such a wonderful wedding on St Simons Island. The day began at Lovely Lane Chapel at Epworth by the Sea and finished with a reception at the King and Prince Resort. Kelly Mattox was on hand to ensure that everything ran smoothly. I loved how from start to finish they truly made the day about what was important to them- their children and family. We wish them a wonderful marriage filled with lots of love! Click here to view a slideshow of the day.
